2) Read the lesson

In the previous lesson, we reviewed what happens when we sin and the consequences of sin. Sin may seem rewarding at first, but in the end, it hurts us more than helps us. God also punishes us for sinning by giving us exactly what we thought we wanted: sin!

But the story doesn't end there. Our life isn't all doom and gloom, because we have a savior, a most gracious hero named Jesus Christ! Jesus saves all who believe in Him from their sin and consequent death! But what does "being saved from sin" really mean?

Well, in simple terms, it means we are healed!

We can think of sin like a giant virus or pathogen. When we choose to sin, we allow that virus to take hold of us and weigh us down. It eventually makes us so sick and ill that we almost die from it. But Jesus is our doctor. He is a Healer and gives us life!

Jesus is the only one who can do the double negative is positive. -1* -1 is 1! He took on all sin, although never having sinned! Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life
