There are 3 forces as God: God the Father, God the Spirit, and God as Jesus Christ. They are all together, 3 things as 1. This is called the Holy Trinity.

The Father, Son, and Spirit have existed before the Earth was made, and they are all united! They are each perfect and powerful alone, and together are perfect and powerful. They are both 3 separate things, and 1 thing. How can something be both 3 things and 1 thing at the same time? Here is another picture to describe the the Holy Trinity.

There are other ways you can understand the Holy Trinity too. Some like to see it as a family. There is God the Father - Sometimes He seems strict or harsh and has a lot of rules to follow. But He is very strong and protects and loves His children non-stop.
God the Spirit can be thought of like a mother. The bible says that the Holy Spirit is a Comforter and a Helper, much like a loving mom! It nurtures you, gives you gifts, and even helps guide you. It, too, is strong and is always with the Father.
God the Son is Jesus Christ and is, exactly as it sounds! The son loves us, and if we accept Him and have a relationship with Him, then His dad, the Father, will adopt us as children into their Holy family. The son is also very special in that He sacrificed His life for us and overcame death so that we can live forever in peace.
As we learn more about God, it is important to keep in mind that God is both a "unit" or 1, AND "united". God is 3 in 1.
Unit - an individual thing or person regarded as single and complete but which can also form an individual component of a larger or more complex whole.
United - made into or caused to act as a single entity
God the Holy Trinity is all powerful!
